The Burnett House, also known as the Burnett House of Leys, is a historic property that offers garden bookings for afternoon tea during the dry season from May to September. Located in Southborough, Massachusetts, this Second Empire-style stone home was built in 1847 for Joseph Burnett, the commercial creator of liquid vanilla extract. The House of Burnett organization preserves the heritage of this property and Crathes Castle. Membership plans for the House of Burnett range from free "Friends" memberships to $500 Lifetime memberships, providing benefits such as quarterly newsletters, access to members-only website areas, genealogy services, and discounts on purchases.
