Set within a restored heritage building on Light Square, ILA is home to two distinctive reception spaces: the award-winning Aurora Restaurant and the spectacular Aurora Lab.

Aurora Restaurant combines warm, atmospheric interiors, decorative lighting and the theatre of an open kitchen. Led by Executive Chef Robin Wagner, our culinary team creates refined menus showcasing seasonal South Australian produce. Choose an intimate micro wedding for 10 to 30 guests, or celebrate with up to 90 guests at an elegant seated reception.

For a wedding with genuine wow factor, Aurora Lab surrounds your guests with 50 square metres of high-definition LED screens. The immersive visuals can transform throughout the celebration, taking guests from a romantic dining atmosphere to a vibrant, high-energy dance floor. The Lab can accommodate up to 72 guests for immersive seated dining or up to 160 guests for a cocktail reception.

Couples may also create a progressive reception, beginning with refined dining in Aurora before continuing the celebration in Aurora Lab as the visuals change, the music rises and the dance floor comes alive.

Our experienced team will work closely with you to curate the food, drinks, styling and atmosphere, creating a reception that feels entirely your own.
