MacKenzie Quarters is a historic wedding and event venue located in a restored 145-year-old school building in the heart of Bendigo’s Arts Precinct. Built in 1877, the venue features original details such as arched windows, detailed wooden ceilings, and solid blackwood floors. The facility includes several distinct spaces: MacKenzie Hall, the Ms Batterhams lounge bar located in the basement, and The Residence for on-site accommodation.
The venue can accommodate groups ranging from 60 to 150 guests. Catering options include formal three-course dinners, four-course tasting menus, roaming food platters, and specialty food stations. On-site ceremonies are possible, and the venue is within walking distance of the Cathedral and Rosalind Park. Additional services include expert wedding coordination and off-site catering. The Residence, a Gothic Revival style family home, offers five bedrooms that can sleep up to 11 or 12 guests and includes a fully functioning kitchen.
