The Bethnal

The Bethnal is a contemporary wedding and event venue located at 6 Byres Street, Newstead, Brisbane. Designed by the team behind Range Brewing, the space functions as a working barrel room and features a warehouse aesthetic with industrial elements and natural accents. Key architectural features include a floor-to-ceiling barrel wall, polished concrete floors, an exposed ceiling, dark timber finishes, warm lighting, and curved motifs.

The venue accommodates up to 130 guests for cocktail-style events and up to 90 for sit-down functions. It offers all-inclusive and customizable packages for weddings, including ceremonies and receptions, as well as private parties and corporate events. On-site amenities include a custom-built private bar with six taps of Range Brewing beer, a full PA system with a projector and microphone, and wheelchair accessibility throughout. Catering is provided by partners Cuisine on Cue and Sorella, offering options such as pizza stations, canapes, and sit-down feasting menus. Street parking is available nearby, with additional paid parking at the Gasworks shopping centre.
