The Lakehouse Folk is a 10-acre private lakeview property and wedding venue located at 226 Western Avenue in Montville, within the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Established in 2022, the venue specializes in elopements, micro weddings, and small celebrations for up to 20 guests. Perched on a hill overlooking Lake Baroon, the grounds feature open fields, immaculate gardens, a rainforest border, and resident donkeys.
Key features and policies include: - On-site five-star accommodation for up to 10 guests across two private cottages, the Pool House and Retro Ranch.
- The Pool House includes two bedrooms with queen beds, a loft with a king mattress, a full kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and bathtub, a separate office, and a private pool.
- The Retro Ranch features two bedrooms (one queen, one with two king singles), full kitchen facilities, and a bathroom with a shower.
- Amenities such as air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a fire pit for up to 20 people, and a complimentary rain plan featuring a 6m canvas event tent.
- Flexible vendor policies allowing clients to bring their own catering, stylists, and alcohol (BYO).
- Pet-friendly ceremonies allowed with prior approval.
