Walkabout Creek is a rainforest wedding and event venue located at 60 Mount Nebo Road, The Gap, Queensland, approximately 25 minutes west of Brisbane. Situated within D'Aguilar National Park and overlooking the Enoggera Reservoir, the venue offers several indoor, outdoor, and undercover spaces for ceremonies and receptions.
Key features and event spaces include: - The Deck: A large, undercover space overlooking the reservoir that can accommodate up to 200 seated or 300 standing guests. It is styled with white and timber furnishings and native plants.
- Banksia Room: A large function room for up to 120 people featuring a grand piano, timber dance floor, internal bathrooms, and views of the reservoir.
- Ferntree Room: An intimate space for up to 60 people with floor-to-ceiling glass doors offering views of the treetops and a tree-kangaroo enclosure.
