Woolmers Estate

Woolmers Estate is a UNESCO World Heritage site in Longford, Tasmania, that serves as a heritage backdrop for weddings and events ranging from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations. The 82-hectare estate features 18 original heritage buildings, including the grand Italianate Woolmers House, which contains original family heirlooms. Facilities include the National Rose Garden with 5,000 roses, a suspension bridge, the 2.8km Convict Farm Walk, and the Nigel Peck Centre, which houses a cafe, gift shop, and exhibition spaces. On-site heritage accommodation is available, including six self-contained, convict-built cottages from the 1840s and four restored Free Settlers cottages. Guest amenities include a restaurant, bar, conference center, picnic areas, and accessible facilities such as step-free main entrances and wheelchair-accessible parking.
